Learn how to evaluate government opportunities and make informed decisions about which opportunities your business should pursue.

GOVCLASS™ FOUNDATION — COMPETE introduces the process businesses can use to review government solicitations, identify important requirements, compare those requirements with their capabilities and evidence, recognize gaps, and decide whether an opportunity deserves further pursuit.

You'll learn how to read before responding, understand common competition and solicitation terms, distinguish among bids, quotes, offers, and proposals, and follow an opportunity from initial review through a basic bid/no-bid decision.

You'll also practice the GovClass™ COMPETE workflow:

READ → EXTRACT → MATCH → IDENTIFY GAPS → DECIDE → RESPOND

COMPETE is one stage of the GovClass™ Government Contractor Pathway™:

IDEA → FORM → PROTECT → IDENTIFY → REGISTER → COMPETE → PERFORM

No previous government-contracting experience is required.

GovClass™ Learning Standard:
See It → Name It → Understand It → Try It → Check It → Find Your Next Step.
