GOVCLASS™ FOUNDATION — IDENTIFY Government Opportunities introduces the process businesses use to locate government contracting opportunities, understand what they are looking at, and determine whether an opportunity deserves closer review.
You'll learn where government opportunities may be found, how agencies communicate what they need, and the basic differences between notices such as Sources Sought, solicitations, and awards. You'll also practice performing a simple first review by comparing an opportunity with your business's capabilities, experience, eligibility, timing, and capacity.
IDENTIFY is one stage of the GovClass™ Government Contractor Pathway™:
IDEA → FORM → PROTECT → IDENTIFY → REGISTER → COMPETE → PERFORM
No previous government-contracting experience is required.
GovClass™ Learning Standard:
See It → Name It → Understand It → Try It → Check It → Find Your Next Step.
